New York: Samuel French, 1945. Softcover bound in yellow with title on spine and cover in black. No dust jacket. 8vo - measures over 7" - 9" tall. 98 pp. The three act comedy "While the Sun Shines". First opened September 19, 1944 at the Lyceum Theatre in New York, under the direction of George S. Kaufman. This book (softcover) first published 1943, and later in 1945 (after play opening). Book in good condition with flaws noted: Softcover has corners slightly bumped and creased. Two-staple binding holding tight. One word written in pencil on page 31. Last inner page has 25% stuck (at spine) to rear cover, covering some text of advertisements in back, else no interior marks, writing, tears, etc. Not an ex-library book.
