Measures 8-3/8" tall x 5-5/8" wide. 383 pp. (Atkinson, #A 26-I-i.a).A collectible first edition from the four-time Pulitzer and Nobel prize winning playwright. A collection of nine plays published on March 15, 1926. They include: The Great God Brown; The Fountain; The Moon of the Caribbees; Bound East for Cardiff; The Long Voyage Home; In the Zone; Ile; Where the Cross is Made; and The Rope. Overall, poor to acceptable condition, with flaws noted: top corners bumped and rubbed; head and tail of spine chipped with cloth removed; back top edge has 1/4" x 2" cloth tear with cloth removed; spine darkened and goldstamp text non-readable. Boards have general soiling; top portion of fore edge has mechanical damage (scuffing to entire block of pages). Interior, front board 95% detached from text block, back cover 50% detached. Text block contents tight. No other marks, tears, dog-ear pages, remainder mark or library stamps. Not ex-library. From a private collector's downsized personal library.
