New York: Barse & Hopkins, 1916. First American edition. Green cloth hardcover with no dust jacket. Measures 5-1/4" x 7-5/8" tall. 192 pp. A well known book of poetry, written during and based on the 'Great War' (WWI). Book was dedicated to the author's brother, who was killed in action, in August 1916. Originally published in Canada and released just before the 1st American edition. Overall, good condition, with flaws noted: Corners and head/tail of spine slightly bumped. Covers show slightest wear. Book tight and complete, with no interior writing, underlining, etc. Two inscriptions written in pencil on rear inner board. Rear free end paper removed. Not ex-library.
