London: Thomas Nelson and Sons. No date given, but estimated 1880's. Pictorial illustrated cloth hardcover gilt decoration with title on front cover and spine, in no dust jacket. Measures 4-1/2" x 6-1/2" tall. 128 pp. A book of poetry with the theme of flowers; it is unknown if Ms. Howitt is an editor, or if this is all her original poetry. Illustrated with 100 black and white engravings by Giacomelli. Overall, good condition, with flaws noted: Slight bumping to corners. Previous owner's white spine label removed, now remains a small white mark on spine and partially on front cover. Decorative script gift inscription on ffep. No interior writing present. Book tight and complete.
